Daniel CasasAccessibility Policy Officer at the European Disability Forum (EDF)
Daniel Casas is Accessibility Policy Officer at the European Disability Forum (EDF), the umbrella organisation that defends the interests of over 100 million persons with disabilities in Europe. His work at EDF focuses on accessibility and freedom of movement, covering areas and policies such as transport, the built environment, accessibility of goods and services, ICT and new technologies and standardisation.

Igor StefanovićTechnical Coordinator of Ethics, Culture and Social Responsibility Department, UN Tourism
Igor started his career at the UN Mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina, prior to joining UN Tourism in Madrid in 2007. Since 2009, he has been managing the portfolio of accessible tourism in collaboration with civil society, governments, as well as tourism companies and destinations, worldwide. Igor has worked closely with standardization bodies in the elaboration, promotion and implementation of international standards, notably ISO 21902:2021, catering to persons with specific access requirements across the entire travel and tourism value chain.

Marko PerišaFaculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences, UNIZG
Scientist and researcher studying the possibilities of applying assistive technologies in addressing the everyday needs of people with disabilities, with the goal of enhancing mobility. He is the head of the Laboratory for the Development and Research of Information and Communication Assistive Technologies and the head of the Chair of Information Communication Systems and Networks at the Department of Information and Communication Traffic at the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences.

Slaven ŠkrobotWorld traveler with tetraplegia
Slaven Škrobot is a Croatian adventurer, travel writer, humanitarian, motivational speaker, and blogger who inspires individuals worldwide, particularly those with disabilities, to embrace travel and adventure. In 2009, a diving accident left him with tetraplegia, but he transformed this life-changing event into an opportunity to explore the world. Since then, Slaven has embarked on numerous journeys across four continents, aiming to challenge stereotypes and demonstrate that physical limitations need not hinder one’s passion for exploration. Notably, he became the first person to navigate wheelchair-accessible routes to reach the Monastery in Petra, Jordan, the summit of Pidurangala Rock in Sri Lanka, and many more. He also initiated his project, cycling 3500 km from Croatia to Turkey to promote active living and raise funds for purchasing specialized bicycles for other individuals with disabilities.

Sneshka Richter is a multilingual expert in Inclusive Sustainability and Responsible Tourism Development with over 30 years in the travel and tourism industry. From international business development to training and policy influence, she has worked with Tourism Ministers, Heads of State, and industry leaders. An accredited Green Globe Auditor, she guides businesses toward top sustainability standards aligned with UNDP SDGs. Passionate about regenerative tourism, Sneshka empowers destinations to lead in sustainability, resilience, and inclusive growth.

Ana Saksida, MD, PhDPhysical medicine and rehabilitation specialist
Department for Rehabilitation of Patients with Spinal Cord Injuries at The University Rehabilitation Institute Republic of Slovenia Soča (URI Soča).
Dr. Ana Saksida is a physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist working at the University rehabilitation institute of Republic of Slovenia Soča, Department for rehabilitation of patients with SCI. Her special interests include autonomic disorders in patients with spinal cord injuries, especially neurogenic bowel, and bladder. She also holds a Certificate in Urodynamics (from Bristol Urological Institute). As of May 1st 2024, she has been appointed Head of the Department for Rehabilitation of Patients with Spinal Cord Injuries.

Petra Grabner, BSc OT University Rehabitation Institute Republic of Slovenia.
An occupational therapist with specialized knowledge in the field of rehabilitation and 30 years of experience working in a department for individuals with spinal cord injuries. Her work is based on empathy, respect, holistic care, and precise monitoring of patients’ progress. She believes that every step forward, no matter how small, restores patients’ confidence in their own abilities. She actively participates in symposia and congresses, both domestically and internationally, and collaborates with governmental and non-governmental organizations as well as the Faculty of Health Sciences in Ljubljana. Her motto is to return individuals to active living and improve their quality of life. Over the years, she has also acquired specialized expertise in testing the most demanding medical devices and adapting vehicles for individuals with disabilities.

Sif HolstMember at European Economic and Social Committee
Sif Holst is a member at European Economic and Social Committee, where she, among other things, is President of the Equality Group, Vice-president of Civil Society Organisations and a member of disability group and has worked with Accessible Tourism. Sif Holst is also Vice-chair Disabled People’s Organisations Denmark, chair of the danish accessibility scheme God Adgang and a member of the Danish Tourism Advisoty Board. Sif Holst uses a powerchair and spends a lot of time on the road.
